Escalation Engineer – California, US
What was your very first job?
My first job was a summer position as a receptionist at a tech company. My job was to sit at the front desk and greet people, sometimes in Mandarin!
How did you get into your current job or field?
I didn’t get into DevOps intentionally — I applied for an entry-level job at Electric Cloud as an undergrad with a CS degree. One of the reasons I joined Codefresh was because of Vidhya, our Head of CS. We both worked together at Electric Cloud and now have the opportunity to work together again. I like my role as a Dev Support Engineer because I get to interact with a wide range of people in different industries.
What’s a fun fact about you that not many people know?
My mom manages a dev team that builds a testing tool for microchips!
What activities or hobbies do you enjoy outside of work?
I enjoy digitally drawing and painting in my free time. Sometimes I paint scenery, sometimes people portraiture or animals. I also enjoy gaming and cooking! When it comes to cooking, I like to make my dishes look pretty — plating is very important.
What is your best memory about working at Codefresh?
It’s hard to say when everyone is working remotely and you aren’t having physical in-person gatherings, but I enjoy our happy hours. The games that we organize are a lot of fun.
