What was your very first job?
I was an “assistant coach” to my brother’s club volleyball team when I was in high school. Basically, it consisted of giving high-fives and chasing after volleyballs… does that count as a real first job??
How did you get into your current job or field?
I’ve always been in people-facing roles, and I enjoy building and maintaining relationships; when I heard about the opportunity here at Codefresh, it really excited me. I love the combination of supporting Raziel and the leadership team, managing operations, and being a part of People Team planning and events. Shoutout and thank you to Carmelle, our Marketing Designer, for referring me!
What’s a fun fact about you that not many people know?
Many people know I’m a big Golden State Warriors fan, but what does that mean exactly? Am I a bandwagoner just because they’ve been winning a lot? HECK NO! I’ve been a huge NBA fan my whole life (thanks to my older brother), so I have a ton of potentially useless basketball knowledge that surprises most people. Also – don’t tell anybody – but I actually grew up a Sacramento Kings fan…
What is your favorite activity or hobby that you enjoy outside of work?
I have a lot of things I enjoy doing – baking, playing volleyball, watching sporting events, and attending concerts, but honestly, nothing beats sitting on the couch and watching trash tv. The Bachelor, Kardashians, 90 Day Fiance, Love is Blind, all of it.
What is your best memory or favorite thing about working at Codefresh?
My favorite thing about working at Codefresh is 100% the people. So many laughs and inside jokes have been shared amongst all of us, whether at an in-person event, virtual happy hour, or even via Slack. You know you’re in a good spot when you actually WANT to go into the office, even when it’s optional. I feel so lucky to be surrounded by some of the best people I’ve ever met. Thank you Codefresh!
