What was your very first job?

I worked at Hop Union CBS, a hop processing plant in Yakima, WA. I worked on the new raw hops line for Sierra Nevada breweries.

How did you get into your current job or field?

I was working in Application Support and was frustrated with the deployments being so error-prone and taking many hours on Saturday night. I wrote a Ruby program to replace our Rundeck solution for deployments and cut deployments down to 20 minutes. We ran them daily after that during business hours. I was subsequently promoted to the DevOps team after that.

What’s a fun fact about you that not many people know?

I lived in Seattle for 15 years and never once visited the Space Needle.

What is your favorite activity or hobby that you enjoy outside of work?

I really enjoy river tubing!

What is your best memory about working at Codefresh?

My best memory is traveling to Tel Aviv to meet our engineering team.
