At the last Containers #101 meetup we learned how ironSource and Codefresh use Docker to accelerate Continuous Development and rapidly release new products/ features.
Shimon Tolts, CTO of Data Solutions at ironSource, joined us to talk about how they leverage Docker to simplify their workflow and deliver Big Data solutions to their customers faster. He shared their experience running Docker containers in production and how they took one of their base systems, considered “the backbone of the company,” and transformed it using containers.

We also had Raziel Tabib, Co-Founder and CEO of Codefresh, share how they use Docker containers to increase agility and improve the quality of their application. He explained how Docker technology has enabled them to quickly iterate and deliver new features to their customers. In his demo, he showed us how they use containers to build, test and scale their microservices application.
“Container technology allows us to manage development workflows and collaborate across a globally distributed team. If one of our developers in Europe is working on a new feature, he can instantly spin up and share the running environment of his feature branch with me (in the U.S) so I can make comments and provide feedback before even making a pull request. Using Docker containers, we can test and incorporate feedback earlier in the lifecycle, so we can spend more time innovating and less time troubleshooting.”
