Senior Enterprise Sales Executive – Texas, US
What was your very first job?
My very first job was as an independent contractor. Growing up, my dad was a handyman, and he would always take me to work with him. By the time I was in college, I knew a little bit about everything regarding home remodeling and building, so that’s what I did. I had no tools or truck, but I did have the knowledge of who we needed for what job and what we needed to do. We did everything from fixing doors, building IKEA kitchens, to remodeling entire condos. I still do a bit of home flipping on the side.
How did you get into your current job or field?
The company I was working for had a rotational program where engineers could try a sales role for 6 months. I loved the consulting side of tech sales, how much you had to interact with people, and how I always got to learn of cool projects other companies were working on. So, I switched to the dark side… Sales!
What’s a fun fact about you that not many people know?
I love learning new languages. I am fluent in English and Spanish, but I have also taken advanced Russian and French courses and introductory ASL.
What is your favorite activity or hobby that you enjoy outside of work?
I love keeping up with Boxing and hitting the bag from time to time, but I also love dancing- two-step, west coast swing, salsa, and bachata.
What is your best memory or favorite thing about working at Codefresh?
The impact you can have day to day. For example, if you have an idea, leadership will let you run with it. If successful, you can see it implemented at a larger scale.
