Meet a Codefresher

Dana Leizarovitch

Operations & Wellbeing Manager – Tel Aviv, Israel

What was your very first job?

My very first job was actually being a Dog Walker when I was just 8 years old! Looking back, I think I learned a lot from taking care of the dogs and for the first time having some responsibility.

How did you get into your current job or field?

I never imagined I would get into the high tech industry. When I started school I majored in communication and media and dreamed of working for a news channel. After I finished school, I pursued that dream and started working as a Director for the largest news channel in Israel. I loved my job and had such a fun time, but that business is very demanding and I worked around the clock – literally 24/7. I was turning 30 and decided I needed a change. One of my friends recommended looking for a job in the tech industry, and I knew I loved working with people. I was lucky enough to find a role on the Codefresh People Team, which ended up being the perfect fit for what I was looking for!

What’s a fun fact about you that not many people know?

I worked as a Robotics Camera Operator for one season of a show called “Big Brother”, one of the most popular shows in Israel. On the show, they follow a group of people that are all living in a big house together and I got to hear and see ALL the behind the scenes secrets!

What is your favorite activity or hobby that you enjoy outside of work?

I grew up in the center of Israel so for me the best place to be is at the sea! I love spending long days and weekends with family and friends just relaxing at the beach. Another big hobby of mine is shopping! I love clothes and finding cool things in stores and online.

What is your best memory or favorite thing about working at Codefresh?

The best thing about Codefresh are the amazing people that work at this company! It is so special to work at a place where I feel I am surrounded by friends! I have met some awesome and inspiring people 🙂
