Meet a Codefresher
Albert Codefresh

Albert Gavrielov

Cyber Security Manager – Holon, Israel

What was your very first job?

My first job was Technical Radio Frequency engineer at a telecommunications company. It was my first experience in customer service and in a technical role. I realized that I didn’t want to continue in this field, so I later shifted my career to information security.

How did you get into your current job or field?

When I was a kid, my parents bought me my first computer. After a few months, I got a virus that deleted all my files. From that point, I started studying computers and how they work. After the army, I started taking courses related to information security. What I love about this field is understanding how hackers think and exploring new approaches of attackers, and then creating defense layers at Codefresh.

What’s a fun fact about you that not many people know?

I help people to transition to a career in tech. This includes mentoring, connecting to the relevant people in the field, and helping people choose the best courses to take.

What is your favorite activity or hobby that you enjoy outside of work?

My hobbies include playing basketball, listening to house music, and going on hikes.

What is your best memory or favorite thing about working at Codefresh?

The thing that I love most about Codefresh is the people, they are the real asset – very intelligent people with a great culture. Everyone is always glad to help and give you a feeling of a warm family.
